Today Playism announced that the anime Metroidvania game Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth will be released on consoles.
Daily Video Game writes: "Several popular games published by Merge Games and Playism are on sale with good discounts right now for Nintendo Switch gamers on eShop for a limited time, featuring many of their games such as Aragami, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, Record of Lodoss War-Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth and more!"
Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is a very familiar but still an absolute joy to play.
"Record of Lodoss War, the anime, is fondly remembered as a rare example of serious fantasy in the medium as well as for its gorgeous artwork and iconic characters. One such character is Deedlit the elf, who now stars in her own Metroidvania game from Team Ladybug and Playism. This is on my list of games to play(I won it physically) but I have to make room after For of den West and Elden Ring . Maybe I’ll play it with Dying Light 2 Ghostwire Tokyo of some other games
It's only about 10 hours long, so it shouldn't be too hard to fit in. The game definitely works well as both a Metroidvania and a Record of Lodoss War title.
Wow I always loved the Record of Lodoss war anime series. Here's hoping this game is good
Have this on PC and while not the best game was definitely worth the $15 I paid. Might pick this back up on console if not more then $20.
