Take a look back at Arizona State's win over Colorado on Saturday night.

Sun Devils run out the clock

With quarterback Jayden Daniels on the sidelines with a towel around his neck, Arizona State ran down the clock against Colorado and secured a 35-13 Pac-12 victory Saturday night at Sun Devil Stadium.

Daniels rushes for 2nd TD

Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels scrambled for his second touchdown of the night with 8:30 to play against Colorado on Saturday night.

The 15-yard run by Daniels capped a seven-play, 59-yard drive. After a 13-yard pass to Rachaad White, the rest of the yards were gained on the ground as ASU took time off the clock.

It was Daniels second rushing touchdown of the game. He has 75 yards on seven carries to lead the Sun Devils.

Daniels is 18-for-25 passing for 236 yards. In the first quarter, the junior surpassed 5,000 all-purpose yards for his career.

ASU leads Colorado 35-10.

White receiving touchdown adds to ASU lead

A wide receiver threw to a running back Saturday night as Arizona State opened up the playbook a bit. Quarterback Jayden Daniels threw back to Ricky Pearsall, who then passed to Rachaad White for a 30-yard touchdown.

Cristian Zendejas added the point after for a 28-10 lead just seconds into the fourth quarter against Colorado.

ASU has now thrown for 253 yards while rushing for just 114.

Badger finds the end zone

Arizona State wide receiver Elijhah Badger took the ball on a reverse and ran 17 yards for a touchdown. It was the first career touchdown for the freshman, who saw his first action last week against BYU.

On the drive, quarterback Jayden Daniels completed passes 14, 13 and 15 yards on consecutive throws. Johnny Wilson caught the first pass, while L.V. Bunkley-Shelton caught the latter two.

Daniels is now 13-for-18 for 180 yards.

The Sun Devils lead 21-10 midway through the third quarter.

Colorado back in the game

Arizona State stopped Colorado on two rushes inside the 2, but the third time was the charm for the Buffaloes.

Alex Fontenot's fifth straight carry on an eight-play, 75 yard drive was for a single yard, but it was into the end zone. Earlier in the drive, he broke free for gains of 13 and 14 yards.

The point after made it 14-10 Sun Devils with 11:01 left in the third.

Colorado breaks scoreless streak

Colorado scored for the first time since Sept. 11 when Cole Becker kicked a 51-yard field goal in the waning seconds of the second quarter Saturday night against Arizona State.

The field goal broke a streak of eight scoreless quarters for the Buffaloes.

ASU leads 14-3 at the half.

ASU flagged for targeting

Arizona State freshman linebacker B.J. Green was flagged for targeting after a hit on Colorado quarterback Brendon Lewis.

Green was disqualified from the game, but will be eligible to play next week against UCLA.

The 15-yard penalty moved the Buffaloes into ASU territory at the 48, but the drive stalled and resulted in a punt.

White gets 6th rushing TD of season

Arizona State running back Rachaad White ran 11 yards for his sixth rushing touchdown of the season.

The score capped a seven-play, 72-yard drive with 9:28 left in the second quarter.

White has five carries for 25 yards.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels leads the team with 26 yards and one touchdown on four carries.

The Sun Devils lead 14-0.

Buffs miss FG

Arizona State's Jack Jones got just enough of his hand on the football to prevent Colorado from getting on the board early in the second quarter.

The 46-yard attempt from Cole Becker was off the mark, leaving the score 7-0 in ASU's favor.

Arizona State quarterback Jayden Daniels surpassed 5,000 all-purpose yards Saturday in the first quarter against Colorado.

The junior also put the Sun Devils on the board when he ran 7 yards for a touchdown. It was his first rushing touchdown of the season. The touchdown capped a six-play 45 yard drive.

The point after by Cristian Zendejas made it 7-0 ASU.

Sun Devils in good position

Arizona State punted away its first possession, but after holding Colorado to a three-and-out — and backing the Buffaloes up 7 yards in the process — the Sun Devils have good field position.

ASU has a first-and-10 at the Colorado 45.

Injury update

Arizona State cornerback Chase Lucas has 42 starts under his belt, but he might have to wait another week for No. 43.

Lucas was not seen among those warming up Saturday night for the Pac-12 opener against Colorado. If Lucas does not start, it will snap a streak of 24 straight games.

Others not expected to play include receiver Bryan Thompson and running back DeaMonte Trayanum.

On the plus side, D.J. Taylor and D.J. Davidson are back. Timarcus Davis, who has yet to play this season because of injury, is expected to get time in place of Lucas.

DT Jermayne Lole and DE Travez Moore are out for the year with season-ending injuries.
