Are the Cowboys playing today? NFL schedule, TV channels for Week 7 games

Dak-Prescott-102021

Six teams will not play during Week 7 of the NFL schedule due to having their bye week. The bye weeks began in Week 6, when four other teams sat out for the week and got their rest.

The bye weeks take place from Week 6 to Week 14, with all 32 teams getting a chance to rest up for the following week. Week 7 grants the most byes for the season with six, while only two teams get Weeks 8, 11 and 12 off.

The Cowboys (5-1) are coming off of a close 35-29 OT win over the Patriots in Week 6. With around 23 million tuning into the Sunday afternoon matchup, it was the most watched mid-afternoon game on CBS since 2015. This was also their fifth win in a row, solidifying themselves as strong Super Bowl contenders.

Below lists what you need to know about the teams on bye this week, along with the full Week 7 NFL schedule.
